Little Pearls Dentistry For Children
We are in-network with several dental PPO’s. If you are a prospective patient and network participation is important to you, we ask that you call your insurance company to verify that our office is listed as an in network provider.
If we are out of network with your insurance, rest assured that most insurance plans provide out of network benefits and that sometimes the benefits can be just as good as in network benefits. We have found that many plans with Metlife, Cigna, and Aetna have great out of network benefits. We hope that you will choose LPD as your child’s dentist regardless of network participation. We will always strive to keep your costs as low as possible through conservative care and recommendations. Additionally, we are happy to file your claims as a courtesy.
Many medical insurance plans now carry a pediatric dental rider. This insurance must be billed prior to the dental insurance. Please check with your medical insurance to see if it carries this pediatric dental rider. If so, we will need the medical insurance information in order to file your claims.
Please understand that insurance is a contract between your employer and the insurance company. We were not involved in that negotiation, nor can we know the benefits and limitations of the many insurance plans on the market. Your insurance company is not required to provide us information about your coverage and benefits, even if we are in-network with them. We urge you to understand your policy and to provide us with accurate information so that we can submit claims in a timely fashion and minimize your possible expenses. Claims older than 45 days will be closed and the balance will become your responsibility.
For your convenience, we work with CareCredit and GreenSky, two nationally respected lenders, to ensure that your child can receive the dental care he or she deserves regardless of your financial situation. You may even qualify for an interest free payment plan!
With a range of plans for every age, starting as low as $199/year, your child will receive all the preventive care he or she needs to keep his or her dental health on the right path. You will also realize 10-15% savings on additional services. There are no deductibles, waiting periods, or restrictions on treatment.
Perhaps your child sees your family dentist or another pediatric dentist. We know that some dentists don’t take the time to thoroughly discuss a child’s needs and the various options for treatment. We also know that many dentists don’t take the time to talk about preventing the need for treatment or the various products available to help decrease a child’s risk for developing cavities. We do.
We love giving second and even third opinions. Some dental offices believe in a cookie cutter approach to children’s dental health. But we know that kids are people, not baked goods in a window. If treatment has been recommended for your child, or if you would simply like another set of eyes to take a look, we would be happy to do so. There are always options available and we would love the opportunity to share the options with you. If you are unsure of the recommendations given to you by another dentist, please call our office at (571) 601-2080 for a complimentary consultation.
Please provide any x-rays you may have taken to avoid any charges. In order that we may spend sufficient time with you and your child, second opinions are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Monday through Friday.
